if everything was legit, then he wouldnt be advertising 37" tires when it obviously 33" tires or less on the jeep... if you look at all the pictures of the jeep, becca's max tire was 33" on that jeep... and those look like 32-33" tires on there. anyone can say they bought a jy engine/trans...
I actually talked to someone that knows the owner just a couple weeks ago, he said he had the jeep fixed at a shop a few leaks and such and has been driving it since. If the engine had been replaced im sure that would have came up in conversation.
If anyone knows anyone knows about someone seriously looking at this jeep beware... it is not as advertised.
what i can see/confirm was fixed... the windshield.... maybe an axle seal
problems i know the jeep had and me/becca didnt want to invest in fixing.
front seal on trans leak, rear main seal on engine leak, high blowby(worn piston rings), broken vacuumn lines to front axle, hesitation in trans when shifting out of park, horn switch in column, also had 3.55 gears, one locker(rear only), leaking ps box,
So including sale price, tag, smog, plus the parts he claims to have installed, i would venture to guess if his add was completely true(unlikely after meeting/talking to him) he would be loosing close to 1k by selling at that price unless he did work himself. but i already know that all work was not done by himself.
anyways, beware of craigslist.
