Hmm.... okay. I think the spot we went to last year for Halloween was great. I believe the canyon we were in was Mule, but I can't be 100% on that (anyone that was there want to verify?). This was out of the main wash and fairly far from the main drag through the canyon, leaving us a little more shielded from the sand toys that seem to come out to do stupid shit in the middle of the night (like drive ten feet from your camp site at 80 mph).

Umm.... you will have Zak with you, correct? He should remember the spot, but looking at the map, I believe we were [url=http://goo.gl/8Bcyr]here[/url] (34.93904, -116.83762). I also looked at the map and see that Bako to Barstow is about two hours. If you guys leave at 8am and want to setup camp before wheeling, we will not start wheeling until 11am.... too late?

Bako leave at 8am.
Nard leave at 7am.
*This will put everyone in Calico around 10am.
*We can take 45 minutes to unload and air down (is that enough time?)
Meet at Doran Scenic Dr and Calico Rd at 11am, ready to roll.

So.... what do you think of this Harry or do you want to adjust to get started a little earlier? I suspect it will be crowded out there and we want to give our folks sometime to do the gatekeeper after the other stuff, so it might make sense to adjust? Your run, your call.

Me and Becca will be heading out friday afternoon/evening and will find a good spot for the group, if possible, we will take the large hardpack flatspot at the Y intersection on Mule Canyon, Ill grab some caution tape, and rope off if needed.

When everyone shows up look for us in the grey ford w/trailer and my black yj.

If anyone else is heading out friday afternoon from Bako, let me/Becca know and we will caravan

I should be good with 4" and 31's locked rear in my xj? I wanna do some decent trails but I don't wanna hold anyone back, some carnage is acceptable

Just make sure you have a strap ready on the front of your XJ, there are a few spots where your going to have to pulled up

I guess i can accept that lol ...So use my 30 footer or will my 12 footer be Long enough? Just so as long as its not the gatekeeper your taking about! I'll be a spectator for that run!

I have only been one time to Calico, but from my experiance, you will need to be pulled, last time I went I was in a XJ, but I was on 35's with a 8" lift
