Azusa Canyon Off-Road Park, July 14

If you are thinking about doing a run and just want to put it out there, this is the place to do it.

Azusa Canyon Off-Road Park, July 14

Even though its a day after I get back from Hawaii, I'm thinking about going to the grand opening. It looks like a cool place and not too far from Bako (I used to shoot up at Burro Canyon all the time) and should not be too hot in the summer:

Wow that looks like fun, are you sure you want to do it on opening day?

Maybe we can get the crew from SGV to show us the ins and outs there?

Looks Pretty cool and close. Better looking than BC109 for sure.

It's not a whole lot different than Gorman.... it's better, but for rigs like Tildogs. You'll find a lot of mud lovers at Azusa.

Yep, July 14th is their grand opening, they have not opened to the public yet. They have been letting some clubs/vendors test-run the obstacles as they were building them. Should be lots of crazy folk to watch (maybe including me).

I used to go Azusa all the time, it's just a big mud pit, the obstacle course looks awesome, place for me to try new junk out on my rig, otherwise thn that, it can get boring, best thing to do is bring an easy up, BBQ, ur dog and family and make a day of it, I wanna try the new course but the parking lot is small and I tow my rig, opening day will be packed to the brim

We were there a few weeks ago. The course has something for everyone and it's close to home, perfect for shakedown

Seems like the full-size guys don't want the little jeeps around any more.

They figured out there is no way to successfully follow us and seemingly backed out with their tails between their legs.... lol

Since this never came together.... let's do Azusa as a club function in the near future. Tildog and Mark are very familiar with the area since it's basically a stones throw away from them. It's a mud lovers pit, but we've got a lot of mud lovers :thefinger: . Plus the rock park they setup should keep the Jeeps happy for a bit :Thumb: .

Aug 4/5 -or- Aug 11/12 -or- after the Con weekend -or- ???

Thoughts?
