Well after driving a Camry, and now damn Toyota Venza I desperately needed to find a Jeep again, I was contemplating an XJ, or a Toyota but I found this little diamond in the rough under the Barter section in Visalia. Well she is now in her new home. Its a 1982 CJ7 originaly thought it was a CJ5 but Justin made sure to let me know it was a 7. She has the straight 6 carburated which is kind of annoying and I had not had to pump the gas before starting ever before on top of the fact it has to warm up for about 5 minutes otherwise it starts to die. Stick shift of course, drove it back from Visalia taking the 65 and it ran pretty damn good, did not pull to either side and made it all the way home on its own power. Thanks Trevina for the help. Put in an optima as the battery it had was on its last leg, put some seat covers up front and it looks decent. Also the previous owner rhinolined the interior, it also has an onboard air system that seems pretty kick ass it has a York compressor up front and it gets to 150psi in about 10 seconds. Not sure where to start on this beast but lockers for sure, the white snake has already looked at it and has plenty of ideas. Here are a few pics i took today.
