A bit of a changeup to the build, switched to 37" tires, knowing the way I want to drive decided to step down a size to be able to thrash the drivetrain with less worries.

It only dropped the jeep 1/2" going from the 39.5" tires to the 37" tires, admittedly the 39.5" were a little worn.

Also got all the beadlocks on and picked up the driveshaft from performance industries today, awesome work again by the local driveline shop.

Looks a little different with the 37" tires, almost looks like it wants to go faster....

Oh and it sits at 110" wheelbase exactly at ride height... should be fun to relearn how to drive it... haha

And this is what i do when Rebecca is at work with my truck...

Small list of todo's left, measure for rear shock mounts, make storage rack above fuel cell, find a way to mount liscense plate, and reengineer the rear cutting brake levers.

Got a good test run in today at least on the road, also flexed out on a couple rocks... so far its all good no noises(meow noise gone..hahah... thanks Becca...)

We slacked on pictures today as we were concentrating on performance/noise/oddities, but pictures will be coming soon, maybe during the week we will take it to zach's test area and try a couple different things.

still have minor details to finish up, but the jeep is 98% done for now... haha

Took it to work, for a.road test today, did good, no vibes or strange noises, still not a freeway cruiser max.speed was around 65 before the engine ran out of oomph...

Maybe next summer it will get a v8 to fix that

Currently its the humongous open rear wich after tomorrow should become an oversized orb of traction... Big mig welder at work is going to alleviate my desire for a rear locker.

With a 3pinion setup on the stock unit it will be plenty strong and have Almost zero chance of failure....

Lol true, but at this point i drive street maybe once a month with it, and once everything.is dialed in on the.jeep should be on trails.90% of its life so the rear tires can suffer a bit for better traction on trails

I figured this was the route you were going. They'll still wear quicker than you anticipate, but you won't have to sit at the bottom of gatekeeper at calico pounding sand.

:redX:

I didnt take any finished pics but the rear is welded, ready to test it this weekend at Gorman.

Should be good fun and safe area to put the pedal down without worries of breaking in secluded place.

We will make sure to have camera going, except for minor improvements in future she should be about ”done”....

Lol I know... Famous last words...

Ill put up some progression pictures from buying stock jeep to now after the weekend.
