There's cell service near Shaver Lake, but not at Dinky Creek.

Yep, no cell service. If you guys can't find the trailhead, or don't want to bother looking, you can meet me at the staging area right off the pavement in the trees where we drop off the tow tow rigs (1/4 mile up McKinley Grove Rd, in the trees on the left). I guess I will wait by the trailhead till about 9am, and if I don't see you, i'll assume that you guys ran into Grouse already and are saving us a campsite. See you guys tomorrow

PS: Remember to walk up rooster rock before you drive it so you know where the exit is.

Im Jealous, Wont have the new jeep till Tuesday. Camp at the lake was the best..
I called DD and asked him to look for the broken axle i left as a reminder for the next trip but Alloy usa needs it for warranty replacment so if you guys happen to see it grap it for me. DD said he thinks he knows where its at..

Fishing: Take barbless hooks Nicole and i caught well over 50 fish on Saterday "ALL DAY LOL" only had a few not survive the hook. used garlic powerbait and some Crickets..
