OK guys and gals, something very cool for the club:

I just got a call from the 4WP district manager. They want IOR to do a photo shoot on Sunday. They will use the photos to do a huge wrap on one of the walls of the Bakersfield store, and use our club logo in the display. Some of us may end up in the ORA mag too.

The problem: We need to set up a time on Sunday morning so we can all be there at the same time/place for the shoot. We have to do it in the morning before the event gets going full-steam, so it needs to be at about 10am or sooner. They also want a spot where rigs can pose on top of rocks with a good background, perhaps on the west side of the sluice box with the mountains in the background? Its important that we get everyone together and posed fast because 4WP hired a photographer for the event and we only have a limited time with him.

What do you guys think?

Hi all!! My names Brett. I'm very new to this board, but came across this on another board (ck5.com) I'm heading out to this event as well and me and my 2 other buddies will be heading out tomorrow morning around 8am-ish to camp. We don't really have a group and are always down to wheel and have a good time. We all have rigs, a Silver Jeep GC Overland, a Green 83 Toyota pickup, and my buddies beast (chevy on 44 boggers caged rear end). We all will also be on quads ( I read someone in this thread was going to be on 2 wheels )

I read (when I was out at Gorman last week riding) that Alikilik Campground will be closed, as that's where the 4wp event is being held... Just thought I'd mention it.

I know this is my first post and I don't know any of you but I'd like to do some runs and hang with a good group and have some good times.

Anyone please feel free to call me or text me in the morning for more details, I will be getting there pretty early but I read someone should be there already.
