Matt, how much do they cost? If they aren't super expensive, I'll buy one if you'll help me put gears in the jk in the next few months

I bought an inch/lbs 1/4" drive clicker style torque wrench, assuming its necessary for setting up gears (since you were looking for one to do gears with). HOpefully it'll get the job done, since I have to do gears in the YJ, and later, the JK.....its dieing with 35's, stock gears and the 3.8L. Gears or Hemi.....hmmmmmm

Matt needed the old school beam style rather than the clicker. He couldn't use my clicker.

Why the beam style? Is it that much more accurate?

When setting pinion preload its a rotational force, the click style will not click when turning 360*

I have done a few using the ”it feels good” method by hand but those were on jobsite trucks that i wasnt worried about them ever being on the road.

Im just annoyed that i misplaced mine in the last two moves, ill order another and recheck beccas preload when it comes in
