New guy here and new to Jeeps

Hey all. New guy here. Just saying hi and posting my Jeeps specs.

She is a 1972 CJ5 on 35's spring over plus 6 inch lift. She's more of a crawler but street legal. 351 Windsor is sitting under the hood. T-18 four speed transmission mated to a Dana 300 transfer case, and Dana 44 in the front and Dana 44 posi in the rear. I pick it up in Colorado this summer and at first I hated it. I wanted a daily driver CJ7 but once I got behind the wheel I knew I found my Jeep. Looking forward to meeting up and doing some trails and maybe some mudding with some fellow Jeep lovers. I need a few parts to make her Cali legal cause up here in Colorado we dont need side mirrors. hate to be headed back but if i can meet some new people to help pass the time that would help alot. Oh yeah, the wench is coming off. the kid i got the jeep from "threw it in free of charge" lol

NICE Jeep. Good build too :Thumb:

Making it Cal legal will be easy for you, since your Jeep is smog exempt.

I need a mirror for sure. The rest is good to go. Maybe some doors. But just to keep the engine heat that blows up through the huge hole that's cut in the floorboard to let my transmission fit. Lol. Just one of the reasons I call my jeep Frankenstine
