Gotta figure out what weight.the axles are from first look appear to be 3500lb axles, brakes on both, if they are 3500's will shorten, brace and build drive over fenders for a 18ish ft single jeep trailer,

If they are 5k axles will keep the lentgh convert to a goose and put the camper on it with deck space for jeep ala' redneck toyhauler

So after careful measuring and figuring, i lopped off the last 6 ft of the trailer.

The axles are 3.5k axles so it will be a car hauler, ordering some angle for the sides/framing for the wood deck.

Will end up being either a 15ft flat trailer with ramps or a 13ft-14ft with a small dovetail, not sure on that part yet, got a lot of grinding and cutting to do tonight.

Dovetail it.... I was talked out of that little gem and not happy that I was. I can't get my rig up in the trailer without ramps (remember Calico when I thought I might have had some room).

Ramps are a bitch..... seriously, call me lazy or whatever, but I want that pig up and strapped down as quickly as possible.... there is beer to be consumed!

didnt have the axle weight rating for anything really extra on it other than jeep and tools.

still looking for goose/5th to convert to a toyhauler, but needed a single trailer for general purpose/jeep

Last time out at Calico..... there was yelling between the Whitesnake and Becca about bringing the "little" tent.... I guess a six man dome is too small to contain the snake.

Yep, Whitesnake was swinging that hose around in my bathroom and broke shit. He NEEDS plenty of room. He stands up to get busy in the missionary position!

Finally more progress, had time today to work on it, framed out the rest of front and the driveover fenders, a standard jeep can squeeze in between the fenders and a brc jeep has to drive over.

We did a test fit today before finalizing the deck and fenders just in case modifications were needed check ok to me so far, tongue may be a little lightbut adding a spare parts box to tongue should put it at right.balance..

looks good man. im currently looking for a trailer as well.

now out of curiosity with where the jeep is on the trailer in the pics, wouldnt you want the axles a bit farther forward? It looks like it wouldnt be exactly balanced with them that back..
