Dana 30 Axle shaft

Alright, my passenger side inner axle shaft snapped at the spline. the spline is stuck inside the diff. Anyone know how to get the spline out so i can put a new axle shaft in? never done this before. dont know crap about diffs.

u can just take out the pumpkin and try to crow bar it out so u can stick new shaft in ...or u can just bring it by

Any chance i could bring it by along with sum beer or food and have someone walk me through it? ive been trying to tear apart the diff. but Honestly i have no clue what im doing lol

Nothing holds those axle shafts into the differential. You can pop the broken splines out through the tube and get a magnet on a stick to pull it out of the tube, or you can pop the carrier out, buy the inner seal, put it in and run a 1 piece inner shaft. I actually have an entire kit that came with my chromos that you can just have. it comes with the cover for your vacuum disconnect and the seals necessary to do it.

I tried the magnet thing, the spline is stuck pretty good. i tried taking the carrier out, but I have no clue what im doing and I wanna do the 1 piece but all i can find at the junk yards is vacuum disco.
