I too was a Combat Engineer, was my second MOS, but I was a 12F, operated the Combat Engineer Vehicle(M60 tank with really short barrel), AVLB(M60 tank, with the bridge in top) and the ACE(made to replace the dozer.
My first MOS was 16S, Stinger Missle, then we changed to 14S Avenger( 8 Stinger Missles), my last MOS was 88M, Motor Transport Specialist(truck driver)

What units were you in as an Avenger Crewmember? Wonder if we ever crossed paths? I was at Bliss from 95-96 with the 108th Airborne 1/2 ADA, then on to Bosnia, then to Ft. Polk with the 2nd ACR 1/2 ADA OPFOR. Rounded out playing OPFOR at Irwin.
