Update....
RCV took nearly 24 hours to return my call.... but they gave me a much better deal than I figured I'd get.
They are shipping out a new axle to me, no questions asked. The pictures of the damage were plenty enough and they don't care to receive the bad one... so I save the shipping fee. I assumed the warranty would take care of the axle, saving the shipping fees was nice... really nice!
