I plan on leaving Fri Feb 1 and coming home the next Sunday. We'll be pre-running Sat and Sun, maybe some on Mon. I have my fingers crossed that the car will be ready and need minimum wrenching out there, if we don't mess something up pre-running. Our garage location is 217 Rugged Rd, and that's where we'll be camping for the week. I reserved a tent this year, and we'll have a heater in it. :Thumb:

There will be a large camp of Bakersfield people to the left of Boone Rd immediately after crossing the bridge. They're getting out there the Wed before and so will have a prime spot and be easy to find. They plan on doing a lot of wheeling. I plan on wheeling Sat after the race, and maybe on Sun based on what others do.

Hammertown and the pit area will be totally fenced off this year, and you'll need a $20 wristband to get in. Small price to pay for what is offered for a week. Here is a link to the week's schedule and spectator info: http://ultra4racing.com/the-inside-line/2013-king-of-the-hammers-week-schedule/

How are the trimmers coming along? Is that goofy race still going to happen?

What's everybody's plans for KOH week? (3rd to the 8th of February)

Crap! I couldn't go last year because I had to work. This year it's the same week as Mardi Gras and I'm going with some single guy friends to Carnival in Rio and and then Sao Paulo to go whoring.

As I understand it.... Jeff is a shit talker and will not wheel his rig?

IDK... is he worried Jeeps spanking his ass?

I do know of another... that wasn't so scared of Jeeps. Once he wheeled with IOR, he was fucked and spent the last year plus down, rebuilding his rig. He feels he might be ready for KOH and thinks, like Jeff, the can spank Jeeps.

Time will tell. :thefinger:

Yes, I am a shit talker. And I'm not afraid to wheel my rig. If its not broke, I would go on any run you guys think I will fit. But right now, Its broke. You can call me a pussy or whatever you want. It doesn't affect me. I'm also not afraid to wheel with any of you. I dream of wheeling 24/7. But as this point in time, My frame is bent. Bad. It needs to be put on a frame jig or whatever. Then I need to box the frame and install a cage. So, I might be down awhile.

I need to replace both frame rails from the motor mounts to the transfer case mounts. It will be braced and boxed.

I hate to say this, but I think it's going to get boat sided and bobbed and the front narrowed. And caged.

When is the next garage day :lol3:

We probably need to have a trimmer work day or evening. I'm running out of time to spend working on it. Yes, the trimmer race is still on. Also, I think the lawnmower would make a cool pit car.

My schedule changed to the 8th through the weekend. I want to leave early on Friday @ 6 am. For those leaving earlier I need coordinates to meet up. Unless were not all camping together.

Looks like nobody is really coming out till Friday for the main race? You guys do know that the main race sucks to watch compared to the LCQ and EMC? There are only a couple of spots they let spectators watch from and 30,000 people crown into those. They are limiting viewing opportunities even more this year, and expecting a bigger turn-out. Most people are going to be stuck watching the main event on the jumbotron in Hammertown or in camp on TV. You really can't wheel on race day either, because the routes to most trails cross the race course.
