Honey baby.... hows the buggy doing?
It's doing....
Been a while since I have posted on this but KOH went well. I seemed that all of the mods I had been working on seemed to pan out...time will be the ultimate test though.
My carnage from KOH......

While at KOH, I got my broken shock fixed by Bilstein which turned into an amazing opportunity to do shock tuning with Doug at Bilstein. Three days of work paid off. If I had known I would have been yanking off shocks like that I would have brought the engine hoist. Thanks to my buddy Rich for helping me and taking Doug out to the whoops to watch and tune. Evidently, it was the tuning process that did the exhaust mount in.
At KOH, I met up with CTM Jack and grabbed some goodies...
Stubs:

Jack tapped my LCAs for me

The stubs are pretty darn awesome! Got them in and sold off the Yukon ones for $170.

I also picked up a 16 qt cooler holder from Swag....matches my action packer bin with the 'speed' holes and all. Got a cooler from K-Mart for $16.

While shock tuning I realized that my rear limit strap set up wasn't working out. I had about 3" of drop out with the current set up and the rear suspension wanted more in the go-fast. I was admiring my buddy't adjustable set up so I built a variation of it. It doesn't have a lot of adjustment but it should help me dial in the optimal length if I choose to cut it off. I thought it was a little heavier than I wanted to I drilled a couple of holes......and saved about 4.2 ounces.

With the new cooler mounts and painted:

The tab on the rear axle truss for the limit strap was bending after the shock tuning.

So I ordered from McMaster Carr a long grade 5 nut and a box of new bolts.

And I mounted the big nut under the truss.

I got in the Team Naxja rig and strapped in with their Hooker harnesses and they were pretty impressive. :thumb:
I just had to have one after trying it and discovered that PRP had stolen the idea and produced a set on their own. I ended up buying one for the drivers side of my buggy and a matching belt without the ratchet. New belts cost me $300 and I sold my old belts for $100 so $200 out of pocket. I look forward to trying these.

Had to change the mount to make it work as it takes a 1/2" bolt and needs room for the ratchet assembly.
