All went off without a hitch. The day was beautiful and the company was even better. A mixed bag for sure. My favorite was "Dave Hess" wheeling a Mercedes Benz sedan, and yes he made it through!I took many pictures and about two hours of video. I boiled the video down to about nineteen minutes. I am going to have to trim it up some more before I can put it on Youtube.

I still don't know why that guy decided to destroy a $70K car????? Bumpers ripped off, trim ripped off, doors dented in, and rocker panels smashed up into the floorboards; and thats just the damage you could see, those don't have skid plates so its probably pretty focked underneath too  Plus, he added 3 fockin hours to the trip  . That guy is one crazy mofo :lol3:

Remember how some of the trailblazers used to rip on us for not having run requirements and IOR rigs holding up the group. Well those days are OVER BIATCHEZ :thefinger:

On a serious note, the trip was fun and the weather was perfect. My daughter did an awesome job in her Jeep, although she did get a little scared on a couple of the off-cambers during the short-cut to Last Chance. My son's Jeep was a total beast with all of the new mods; that 4.3 atlas and stretch put this Jeep on a totally different level. I had more fun driving that Jeep than I do my own.

The whole Infectious crew and Jeremy did both parts of V-notch and nobody had any body damage.

Thanks for setting this run up Jeremy, and to the Trailblazers for inviting us.

At least the is the story I would tell!

I am uploading a nine minute video now. I hope it is small enough for YouTube this time. As far as the Mercedes driver goes, what did you expect from a guy names "Hess" with "88" in his Email address? A fine piece of German engineering, him and the car! The site will only let me upload five pics at a time. I have a bunch. If you want them send me a PM with an Email address and I will send then to you in the cloud. http://youtu.be/PjFm-Q52SG4

Good I didn't go... It's my opinion we put that mentality to bed in the 40s. Him and I would have had problems.

I was not aware he was going, but it was kinda fun for me getting him through. As for holding us up, i tried to keep him moving and there were really only 2 spots that took awhile. I made out home by four... So quit your bitching!

Thank you guys for going. It was a great time. Sorry i didn't get to hang out more on the trail... I was busy getting the benz through the trail!

Chris defined my issue. I am pretty open to other's beliefs, but trust me... there is zero love between enemies of humanity and myself. Nothing about a Neo-Nazi could make me feel better other than seeing him six feet in the ground.

all in all: its kinda like freeway,,, you ve done the trail a bunch of times,,
without the "range rover and Mercedes" guys going,, it would be the same ol' trail
i wouldn't want to do that to often, but it was entertaining.
i love watching the RR & Merc folks fawk their shit up trying to prove something

besides,,,, we needed all that rock stacking practice, we haven't done that in a while :drinks:

Dear Uncle Cracker,
Put down the beer and look at the pictures again. There are four out of a possible ten pictures with the Toyota's in them. Based on the total number of vehicles present (14) and the fact that the Toyota's are clearly 40% of the pics, the Toyota's have been represented far beyond the Jeep participants. It is too bad that 50% of the Toyota's on the run broke down to the point that they were not able to complete the course back through Last Chance Canyon. Freekin Toyota people ;>)
