Well you're right up there with condescending piece of shit Cracker, Brad... "Ya know. I just don't think I would know anything about that." No telling how far that kid walked after getting rejected by you at Goatfest. Bringing some graham crackers for you tomorrow. :thefinger:

Hey man.... the kid, after walking 20 miles through the desert with only one working testical never went to ask anyone else... maybe it was just some dude that liked the shape of my ass and was thinking my help, would be a cock in his mouth. Sorry.... but I don't know anything about that! :thefinger: :thefinger:

But really.... what luck catching him throwing a rock. Can you do me a favor and post it up on NAXJA... those guys will surely go nuts over this.

Real nice to meet some of you guys.

My brother and I had to bounce earlier than expected...My wife called on Sunday morning said she had the flu and needed help with the kid so we had to leave earlier. Bummed we didn't have the chance to wheel with most of you. Brad, it was great meeting you and we'll have to hook up here for some wheeling in the Sierras this summer.

Cheers,

Ben H.

I'll post up some pics later.

lol... They didn't seem to have issue with it, but think only I needed anything... now Cliff on the other hand would go ballistic if he saw rocks being stacked!

Cracker has a rep and this pic blows it out of the water.... is the rep wrong or is he my bitch now???? :stirPot:

You'll kill it when you get there.... hope there are still capable rigs still standing when you get there.

I'll start tearing into mine this afternoon to see what I find.... but I'll be honest, I am assuming there is good damage, as I had never had my ass handed to me as much as I did this last trip.

Had a good time and experienced some great weather. I ran into some good friends from JKO, Jeep Asylum, and clubs I have wheeled with in the past. I also got deals on some gear in Hammertown. And those deep-fried oreos were da bomb!!! Friday night's IOR antics around the fire pit were fun as usual. The TBs were great hosts and fun to wheel with. Well.......except for "Crazy" Joe (I have a feeling they hide him from the public for the most part) :lol3: He said there was going to be a war between clubs if IOR went to "his" campsite. I said "bring it on" :kungfu: , and he said he was going to electrocute me with 30K volts and the Department of Defense would be watching my ass :lol3:

Big congrats go to Richard for placing 2nd in class for the hardest race ever. I saw some very skillful driving first hand, easily besting rigs that were built with 5 times the amount of money. IOR sat at Choco Thunder and cheered him on.

The Unlimited Class race got amazingly crowded this year, too crowded IMO. I think next year I will attend the LCQ, wheel a little, then bail before the big race.

Here is a short vid I made of the race action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTFm0qVv-Wk

Enjoy, and I hope to see everyone next year.

What a trip, we made it back a little bit ago..

Thursday night we met up with roger and chris alsop and made the drive there got to camp about 10ish, we were antsy for action so we went to chocolate thunder where roger made it look like freeway ridge as he calmly crawled the trail around midnight.

Next we headed over to backdoor but had no chance of going up as there was a buggy out of gas right at the top.

Race morning we headed to hammertown saw some vendors and watched some of the race on the jumbo tron .Headed back to camp ate lunch had some applepie then ran turkeyclaw with infectious crew, the trail is called an easier trail but gets frustrating with the diff hanger rocks, we finished it after dark.

Saturday morning woke up late to everyone leaving. We took our time then headed over to sledgehammer with aaron for our first run up it.. That was a great trail and good time the two of us took our time and made it through. I broke off the traction bar on rear axle and aaron lost a bead. We were proud at the mailbox drank a beer and posed at the mailbox.

Saturday night we ate well and chilled by fire for a bit. Went down early as we were headed to cougar bittes in the am.

Woke up sunday packed up and around 10am were unloading rigs at the trailhead. We ran bullfrog and cakewalk in pieces. Basically ran all the obstacles. I could remember, then i took my jeep offtrail and made some new tracks... downhill offcamber two wheel action. After that we made our way back to towrigs and headed out.

On the drive home me and becca were considering a mini ultimate adventure.... redrock, calico, hammers, cougar buttes, big bear, rattlesnake, then home

2nd place finish, out of 25 starters in the stock class!!

Lot's of tough trails on a full bodied rig on 35" tires. Took us about 10.5 hours to run Aftershock, Hwy 19/20, Fissure Mtn, Jackhammer, Chocolate Thunder, Wrecking Ball, Clawhammer, lower and upper Big Johnson, Boulderdash, Elvis, and 110+ miles of desert with some sandy and rocky climbs. We were in 3rd position on course by mid morning, and went back and forth a few times from 2nd to 3rd, and we were solidly in 2nd by the last pit. The car worked well and we had a good day. Between race day and prerunning I kind of got my fill of wheeling for the week.
