Definitely see the east coast influence. Is Josh going to get you a big motor to go with that cage?

Yes.... funny thing is Josh didn't make the suggestion on the look, it was Kurt's. I thought straight, Josh was thinking angled, and Kurt came up with the chevrons. We played with all three and I liked the chevrons the best.

That's my worry.... weight. BUT, the b-pillar turns out to be just 20% heavier than the hard top (~25#). With all the frame, body, and other shit removed, while I'll still be fat, I don't think I'll be any fatter than I was before I started.

Josh has a V8 in his head for this, I do not. While I would love one, the headache and cash don't align well for me.

AND WOW!!! Richard just informed me ORI shipped!?!?! It will be eleven weeks on Wednesday!?!? Shipped only 2.5 weeks past their expected delivery date. :banghead:

Thanks man.

Yesterday was a slow one. We got a late start yesterday and unfortunately, didn't get too much done.

Rear is getting there, almost done. I dropped my fuel cell in there and wasn't exactly happy... that thing takes up a TON of room. Almost all my storage back there will go to gas and beer. While those might be important, so are tools, plugs, and a change of clothes/jackets/etc.. I figure for longer trips I can strap shit to the roof and above the cell... kinda Beverly Hillbilly, but have you seen everyone else on trails like the Con? :) The cell may lose though for a custom one. I am going to look around and debating on just making one myself. Likely, I'll run this one for a couple of trips and see how I like it... 20 gallons of fuel is NICE to have.

And thanks to everyone that has stopped by to help and give advice. And Josh.... you're the best man!! You guy are almost making me want to move closer..... but yeah, that will never happen. :thefinger:

Looks like I'll make my first Bako meeting tonight. While I believe my liver is safe.... will your lungs be? :bleh:
