On my '11 JK Rubicon
Just thought Id give a heads up. I put in new axles a month or two ago and the passenger side started leaking really bad. I pulled everything apart today to change the seal and found the the seal looks and feels fine. I then compared the new shaft to the factory shaft and where the seal rides on the axle is about 1/16" Dia smaller on the 10-Factory Shaft. I didnt catch it when I installed it. Anyways Im gonna put the 10 Factory stub on the stock inner and hopefully I can get 10-Factory to take care of this. I think it didnt start leaking right away because I put some grease on the end of the shaft to save the seal. Once the grease was gone the oil started leaking. Anyways Ill know for sure if this was the problem when I get it back together.

Just heard back from 10-Factory. New axle is being overnighted and should be here Wed. He thinks they might have accidently used a TJ Rubicon inner-axle.

TJ inners are shorter than JKs.

Hmm I dont know then. Spline count was right and it was the right length. Just to small of a diameter where the seals ride.

Glad to hear they took care of you.... customer service has seemingly taken a backseat with many companies as of late.

It only took him a couple hours to call me back and then he was eager to get it squared away. Was kind of a bitch cause 10Factorys web site is not up to date on the contact info. I had to email Dave at Northridge to get a proper contact at 10Factory. He's sending out a whole new axle and U-Joint which is good since I F'd up one of the little plastic bearing cap seals when switching the stub to my stock shaft. Im gonna see if they will sell me just the stub so that I can keep that axle intact as a trail spare.

Well got the part in last night. Looked right so I installed it. Nice that they got it here fast.
