My very first vehicle was an 83 2wd heep Cherokee 2.8l. Left me stranded and me mad more times than the air cooled vws I owned after my jeep experiences. a trip up the grapevine grade left me with anew vent was added to the passenger side of the engine so I cut my losses. ..........................
And bought an 89 2dr 4.0l 4x4. After many repairs I traded it to a friend for a vw type 3 fastback.
So after my "vws" i wanted small 4x4 p/u and naturally I bought a 4.0l 4x4 03 ranger, great Lil truck! After years of reliable service I must have got an itch to repair my own vehicles again..... because I sold the ranger and bought my beloved disco. I'll never part ways with it. This is my favorite vehicle that ive ever owned, Lucas and all.
