(josh had to work) buck, and his wife, amy, 10 people i didn't know, and ME,
all hopped on a boat in channel islands harbor and headed for the islands.
shortly outside of the breakwater, the dolphins began running along side, and in
front of the boat. as we approached Annacapa island we saw the occasional
sea lion or seal, (i don't know the difference). once anchored, we split up into
2 groups, each with a guide. one of the first things i noticed was the water was
so clear, you could see 20 ft. down.
i'll have to shorten this up a little, my finger is getting tired
we paddle in and out of caves, some challenging, some not, but all beautiful.
some of the caves went all of the way thru, some had multiple exit options.
on several occasions we came across seals sunning themselves on the rocks.
in one cove, there had to be 60 or more, and we got as close as 10 ft. away
before many hit the water. even if you're "tuff guy" this is a really NEAT trip.
i would highly suggest you contact "DirtyLJ" and book this trip.
