Hello to the group, I saw a few of the trucks and stickers out on BC109 march of this year, so I thought Id join the group and check out this site. Hope to hit the trails soon and do some exploring.

This thing is a work in progress, but so far: sas'd dana 44 front, geared 5.89, warn hubs, mini spool, chromo shafts, rear toyota 8", lock right that makes alot of noise, geared 5.71, 35" tires, TG front and rear bumpers/rock sliders, TG IFS eliminator kit on 5" springs, warn xd9000i winch, cb radio and in the process of adding my ham gear, 290k on chassis with about 70k on rebuilt 3.slow

Currently saving for either a dual case set up, or a single 4.7 case, haven't decided yet. This is one of my daily drivers that sees roughly 30 miles per day (if not more shuttling everyone around). Drives great

 5.89 front axle gear ratio
5.71 rear?

All of our rigs are "works in progress"

go to "members rigs" and see all of the build threads

Nice rig! Yeah the 5.71 and 5.89 mismatched gears didnt sound like a good idea at first, but after talking to a few people it seemed feasible. I got the geared 3rd member from a friend of mine with a lock-right. If only toyota and dana had a matching ratio other than 4.88 that would move my yota like I need it to. There's 5.29 and 5.38, but still wasnt available like these were. I vary the pressure in the rear tires to keep the t case from binding up too bad.

i wish you a lot of luck with that

hopefully alex will jump in the middle of this conversation,
i believe he is/was running this axle combo, and he works/worked
for 4wheelparts.
i don't do dana, so i would be of little assistance

but we're all happy to have you & your yota on board :salute:
