New project

Postby jkaddiction » September 30th, 2013, 10:28 am

Picked up a new project yesterday
84 yota
5.29 gears
Arb air lockers
Frame mounted sliders
33s for now
Soa lift
T case 4.7:1

Plan is to run 37s. What should I do first?

yes, mine has the progressive weber.(not smog legal)

first thing we need to do is bob that bed 13 inches. then exo it

i ran 37's on mine with a 4 inch lift, but if you're gonna run 37's get
longfield's chromo axles and birfs.

that rig already has some great shit on it, w/ARBs and the low gears
(and it's a toyota) the body is just way to pretty :thefinger:
i have a set of TG 4" front leafs, and chevy 63"s for the rear. that would
move your front axle forward 2" and your rear axle way back.
what's your wheelbase now?

112" is a good no. but your approach and departure angles can be improved

Does anybody have any connections with smog places. Truck won't pass smog and dmv won't green sticker it until the tags are expired so I would have to pay some big fines

Kody, I wouldn't go any more than that. About 110-112 is perfect IMO; it lets you keep the rig low and stable. Also, going longer than that makes it hard to hook-up on the good lines without rear-steer.
