The weather forecast always changes for the better or worse as we get closer. If the rain is still highly probable on Friday, I will just take my Jeep instead of the buggy so I can stay warm, dry, and clean while all the buggys are miserable :thefinger:

How far off the main drag will we be? I'm looking at coming over Saturday night and staying. Never been to JV before. Anybody willing to meet me at the main road and let me follow you in?

Call me... but it will be easy to find. Just drive out Boone Road til you cross a bridge... From there, find the biggest camp.

It usually rains at night, so a 40% chance means it might rain a little during the day or it most likely might rain at night. Goggles and GoreTex will handle the rain in the buggy..... :thefinger:

If it does rain, just stay away from the middle of the lake bed, it can get slimy.

Roger we always camp just off the lakebed, to the left of the road as soon as you cross the bridge, on higher ground.

Last year they camped way on the far left side of the lakebed.... we doing that or having an IOR camp next to the bridge?

Also.... the forecasts are all over the place, some calling for 20MPH winds, 22 degree overnight, and snow?!!? Holy fawk.... why did I cut off my windshield!?!

I'll go with weather underground.... 50/40 and 10% on Saturday, little chilly during the day, but I'll take it.... next month will be hell out there.

Well you guys have fun and be safe out there.

Ruth is being admitted and induced Friday night, so if all goes well we should have a new off-roader by Saturday!
