any pics of broke shaft?
would a 92-97 sterling 10.25" shaft work
can the axle places make a customer shaft without an o-ring and just seal with silicone?
Curious, because well... you got me worried lol... but i did pull my shafts when doing brakes, and no signs of twists on splines or any stress marks.
Okay.... my take on this entire situation is that no aftermarket support is there because there is no need.
Think about how many SDs were made with that shaft.... mid 99 - mid 10. Then you have some of the vans, etc with this axle shaft as well. I talked with Moser, Branik, Dutchman, and one other and they all say they do not have the tooling to make them with the flange o-ring seal and Moser furthermore went on to say they've never had a request to make one.
As for shafts that will work... this is some tricky business. Doing my research leads into a lot of holes.... I believe and 10.5 axle from mid 99 thru 2007 should work fine. Up to 2010 looks to be good as well, but not 100%. Before 99.... there might be some that will work, but you're going to have to be careful. Sline count and width are going to matter. Not sure how the flange holes carry back either?
My biggest issue is the junk yards here will not let me pull shafts and they want fucking arms and legs for the entire thing. In Bako, I think they have no stupid restrictions like that.
Should have gone 14 bolt. Its tough and has great aftermarket support and its cheap.
Cool.... any other idiotic suggestions?
Hey Brad is this the axle shafts you ordered ,if so they are same ones I have in my 60 !! #31920 - New, Yukon Axle
1985-97 F250 10.25" Semi-Float
35 Spline
33 1/2 inches
One Year Warranty!
No, mine are FF. I think the bolt spread on the flange is ~.15 different on the 60 shafts. Then you have the issue of the o-ring seal... these are slightly different at the flange than a gasket type is.

So get this..... Randy's isn't the only fuckhead here.
"Yukon is the manufacturing arm of Randy's" came right out of the mouth of one of their sales people. So.... Randy's bought Yukon and that's why we always see the same "diff wizard" shit on all the sites. Now.... he did confirm they use used shafts out of "surplus" axles. Furthermore, they are presented on the website as 1541h and when I asked, he stated that the website was incorrect. So they lie, know about it, and continue.
My suggestion after this is to not buy from Randy's nor Yukon products.
