Looks sweet Roger. Are you going to run brake lights on the rear or up on the cage?

yea , the running/brake lights will be moved outside the skin.
i have some ideas, but not sure exactly whats gonna happen :dontknow:
i was thinking about frenching in the LEDs that i have, or going 4 small round
LEDs.

i'm really hoping to have it totally completed by the nwb, b&c run in april but,
i'm already thinking about some small changes to what i have done :kungfu:

so, i went by the shop on my way home from work with an idea in my head, and this is what happened:

my brother was already there, and the boys were drinkin :suprise:
i know, i know,,,, i was surprised also
i started talking about my idea, but apparently, they had been talking
about my truck, and everybody had a different image in there drunk minds.

by the end of last night,, this is what i liked best.

the wholes are in the body, so there's no turning back, but the tubes can be
pushed inside to "french" the tail lights if i don't like this sober

so far, looking at the pics this morning, i like it.
it's different, it's kinda "50s-ish"

when all is said and done, the lights will be set inside the tubes, not out on the ends

:lol2: i thought about that, but there was only 1 rock rash in that area.
they should last a little while(or until we go back to "the crest")

@ DD,,,, it will look different with the lights sunk in (semi protected) and i'm thinking
white, rather than flat black (to match my doors) besides,,, i have new infectious
stickers that will need to go on a light color

thanks GJ :drinks:
i wanted something kinda unique, but it's more then that.
with a complete metal shop at your finger tips, and alcohol
is encouraged (i still have all my fingers) i think you
should be creative, experiment with machines and tools
you may or may not be that familiar with, try things that
may or may not be the norm >> i didn't want "truck lights"
mounted in flat sheet metal.
i liked the stealth LEDs i was running (P.S. they're for sale)
but i like change. like i said in an earlier post, if i crush these
i'll change it,,, to something strange, no dought :thefinger:
