Rusty's Lift Kits

Postby 4x4fam » December 27th, 2009, 2:08 pm

Hi, I just found this site today and was hoping to get some info on your experiences with the Rusty's Lift Kits. My hubby has a 99 XJ and wants to get it lifted. I am totally down to do this, but just wanna make sure we dont spend the money and end up unsatisfied...
What are your experiences? Would you recommend? If not who do you recommend? I cant wait to show him this site when he gets home from work!!! Hope to hear from you soon!!!

Rustys is ok (i have heard) I personally like Rubican Express. Awesome ride. Another is Rock Krawler Long arm kit. Its pricey but worth it in the end. I highly recommend not doing a small lift if you ever want to go taller. Just do it the first time and get a good brand!

I personally like my Rusty's long arm, the TV show Xtreme4x4 used this lift for their JeepSpeed project, it was also on te TV show Trucks, the diffrent long arm lifts are pretty much the same, I have a pretty smooth ride, and lots of flex, here is a pic of my XJ flexing:
