Red rock canyon night run! 5-10-14

Postby Trainhop91 » May 11th, 2014, 5:50 pm

Had a great time out at red rock with every one! All in all I believe their were 3 Toyotas and 11 jeeps with uncle cracker leading the way....but my numbers could be wrong ha. Two girls were picked up lost in the middle of the night! Turns out they had high centered the jeep and had been walking for hours. They were dropped off at bickle camp and away we went! Didn't have any major issues as well! I myself kissed my rocker panel on a rock and a dogs day lost a control arm bolt. That was fixed on trail and was just a small hi-cup early on.

I'm sure more happened that I know of so I'll let others chime in and fill in the gaps haha

Wait! You were in the desert and found some girls and let them go? Should have kept them! For a while!

It was a great run.

I will try to post some clips from the run that I took sometime and post them on the thread.

Roger defiantly pulled through on the trail and made sure that everyone made it through.

Still tired as hell though. :suprise:

this run turned out better than expected.
the bakersfield guys really brought it, with 10 rigs :Thumb:
(I expected 2)
everyone was on time, and the run started and ended without a hitch :suprise:
there were a few folks that i didn't know, and it was my pleasure to wheel with them.
the "lost" girls we picked up are from the "O.C.", along with everyone else at "bickle camp"
that night. Crazy coincidence,,, they are all friends of my oldest boy and I met them
at his wedding 2 weeks ago.

as far as the run goes,,, most folks were in the mood to take the "extra credit lines"
so obliged with minimal spotting.

the weather SUCKED in tehachapi on the way out, but was
pretty damn good out on the trail.

we were all back at the trailers by 2am, so everyone aired up and hauled ass.

THANK YOU all for coming out and joining me,, i had a great time

P.S. sorry for burglarizing "a dogs day"s run :drinks:

Aha what a small world it is! Yea they looked very thankful when we came across them ha. And what do you mean only 2 of course we had to come in numbers! By the end of the night I was so tired I said fuck it and drove back to town with 17psi and sway bars disconected!! I think the finance being pissed off helped fuel me to just go haha. Tires didn't seem to show much abuse from it either!

I took a couple pictures of the trail damage....hell more like a kiss. I coulda sworn it just wanted to say hi! Haha....almost had the sliders done before going out there as well. Goes to show if you don't pay attention your gonna get kissed by a rock
