William's wheelin wagon

Postby Toy4xchris » November 12th, 2014, 11:18 am

So with all the ideas and excitement in my other thread I decided to put together a thread for my future son's wheelin wagon

Day 1 ordered an off the shelf northern tool all terrain wagon. Wife got excited and I let her put it together to see it in its stock form

plans are to keep it low as possible,
4-link front and rear w/ coilovers,
slightly wider track width and longer wheel base,
seatbelt to be able to mount his car seat in it,
custom paint/bedliner inside,
gonna talk to father-n-law who is better at wood working to make new wooden sides for it

Well dove back into working on the wagon over the weekend didn't get a whole bunch done but did buy materials and started building the frame for it.

1/2" pipe, 3/4" box tube and some steel plate and strap I had from other projects

The stance and wheel base I am looking for

Pulled the shocks apart thinking about trying to find a softer spring for them

Was a nice day out so I worked in the driveway

Basic layout for the frame needs one more x-member in the middle then I need to build the lower link mounts x-member out of the box tube
