I've been trying to keep my dying jeep alive, and trying not to break it. Most of the minor kinks have been taken care of now. Just need tires now. Thinking about getting some 33 a/t's for the street, and runnin 35s off road, and I'm tellin' you AJ if you go with 4.10s on 35s you're making a huge mistake... TRUST ME! I'M THERE, not by choice though. 4.88s are perfect... save you're transmission...

i will not run 4.88s on the HP 30. Not gonna chance stripping out the pinion. Biggest i will go is 4.56s which is what i am going to run. I know too many people with XJs that have gone to 4.88s to just have them strip the teeth.

I have NEVER!!!! heard of anyone stripping out a pinion. Out of all the forums I've been on I believe I've only seen one thread on it. I've stripped out 4.10s. It has nothing to do with what size gears you run, but how well they are installed...
