Does this look like a good buy?

I met a friend out here looking to buy this CJ Take a look and let me know if it looks like a good buy.

1984 Jeep CJ-7 121K, 4cyl, 4 speed manual, 4" lift, aluminum wheels with mud tires, both full and half hard doors, CD player, new tumble-fold down rear seat. Engine runs strong. They are asking $4000.00

That price is a little steep for a CJ with a 4cyl. You can get a TJ in Bakersfield for a little bit more than that. YJs sell in Bakersfield in the $3K range with the 4.0L. I bought my son a TJ with 4" lift, mud tires, Warn Rockers, Gen Right Bumpers, and less miles for that same price.

I know Henry has found some smokin deals on Jeeps on Craig's List.

I agree with Chris, plus those wheels are so out dated, and probably dent them up pretty easy, looks like the tires are old, you would have to replace those, is a pretty color.

I would look around more, you can find a better deal.
