had an awsome time,i had my lil B
i mean jeremy rode with me. we met Henry, Cris, & Rigo at the meet'n spot. we headed to Calico and met up with Scott. i was expecting chorizo & eggs but maybe next time. anyways after we all got deflated & unloaded,
just sounds funny. we headed out to do some wheelin. Chris led the way, he took us through some tunnels and then the bypass around gatekeeper. right away Rigo got crossed up and when he gave it a little gas SNAP!!!!!! he broke an axel. we ended up using a a hilift & some ratchet straps to keep his wheel from coming off the jeep. got his rig moved to a safe location off the trail. after getting Rigo and his crew into other rigs we headed back to the trail and started to do some wheelin!! Calico is beautiful, if you haven't been there get there. the trail was alot of fun with some challenges here & there and with some really tight spots for us JK's. we ran into a couple of XJ's from Rancho Cucamonga (sorry if i spelled that wrong) and one of them put on a litle show for us, and not to be out done by an XJ with BFG all terrains Henry decided he better tackle this wall to. i'm sure someone got pics & video of all this. the colors of the mountains & hills around the trail were awsome ranging from every shade of red you could imagine to a light green. i wanna get back there as soon as i can. the last obstical was GATEKEEPER. we got Henry to do it, talk about some scary sh!t. boulders just waiting to swollow your rig up. after finding the right line Henry made it through. and like a dumba$$ i decided to give it a try, after making it through the first part pretty easy it was time for the rig swollowing boulders. almost getting through it my passenger rear tire gets swollowed up by the boulders sending the front of my jeep pointing to the sky. and not to mention my taillight and rear corner into a boulder. i asked henry to bring his jeep back down and hook up to my front bumper and usng his winch he got my jeep leveled and i was able to drive it up onto the rocks i need to get me through GATEKEEPER. now chris had to do it since i did & he made it through the tough parts but got hung up on a rock that looked like it has reached up and grabbed many diffs & cross members. we placed rocks, rocked his jeep, placed rocks, rocked his jeep, and finally we decided i would back my jeep up and give him a little tug to get him off that rock. BUT!!! after i got into position they were able to get his jeep freed up and he was able to take another line and make it through GATEKEEPER Scott said he will do it tomorrow.and now
here is a slide show of the pics i took, and some scott took with my phone.

Larry

. Doing one of the most notorious runs in the West with a lightly modified Jeep and no video
. Luckily, Scott and his wife took pictures. Larry and I are the only JKs I have heard of that have completed Gatekeeper going uphill. Gatekeeper did give Larry some trophys. We probably would not have done it if we didn't get to spot Henry going up it. We could pretty much see what lines worked and which ones didn't (and there is NO margin for error; make a small mistake = instant body damage). Yep, that auto tranny sure makes the technical stuff much easier.
and larry dont make me whoop your
to show you who the real b
haha
