Hi everyone. My name is Zach. I've got a 1967 International Scout 800. This one has been in the family for many years and has finally been passed on to me. I'm looking to beef things up a little bit and get this thing on the trail. I'm just starting out, so I need to get involved with some folks that can offer up some advice and maybe point me in the right direction.

Here's the current setup: 152 motor, 3sp, Dana 27/30.

I would like to swap in a Chevy 5.3, 4L60, Dana 300 & go SOA with a pair of Scout II D44s.

I'm still deciding what I want to try to tackle myself and what work I can farm out. Anyone got any advice on local shops?

Anyways, here's a photo. Hope to meet some of you guys soon.

Hi Zack, welcome aboard. Probably not too much familiarity with old Scouts, pretty rare but pretty cool. I visited with someone one day at Shocker about Scouts, was that you?

Most 4x4 modification is pretty universal, I'm sure we can help out with a little advice here and there. I'd be happy to talk anytime.
