july meet & greet?

due to some of us leaving for the rubicon run on the second thursday of the month,
would you like to have the meet & greet on the second wednesday?
probably at legnthwise since it bike night at chuys.
we could try the first thursday of july?
we could have it the third thursday?
or you could have it the second thursday at chuys and say [color=#FF0000][size=150]F[/size][/color] you guys for going to rubicon.

anyways, it would be nice to have a meet & greet before we head out for the rubicon. if you have it on the second thursday it will be the first meet & greet i've missed.

Yeah, I'll be gone the 2nd Thurs, so it would be cool to move it this month. I'll be in MO racing......not on the 'Con trip. Hope you guys have a great trip.

BTW, the Wed before, which would be the first Wed, is the Trailblazers meeting night and some of us go to both.

How about after, so we can get fresh trail reports?

Cool beans, I will be there at 7:00 tomorrow.

I found my manifold crack while looking for a ticking sound under the hood a couple weeks ago (under heat shield). I had the crack brazed as a temporary fix so I could make the Rubicon trip. But it needs to be replaced.

I also found out that I cracked my left rear brake caliper on the Rubicon. I was getting a nasty squeal while driving home from Tahoe and the brakes felt a little mushy. I stopped, found the source of the noise and pulled my rear wheel off. I took off the caliper, removed and reinstalled the pads, checked the rotor and backing plate, bled the line and could not find anything wrong. The noise persisted till I got home where I had my wife stomp on the brakes while I watched the caliper and it was flexing really bad. I found it was badly cracked and by the time I got home, the rotor was messed up too. The caliper was banged up pretty bad, probably from backing into a rock. Gonna fix it fixed today if I can.

Here's what you posted a while back when we were trying to decide if we were going to have the meet & greet at the same place or not.

I say we go with the same place each month.

Chuy's has great parking and exposure.

The biggest turn outs have been at Chuy's.

Food is pretty good and a good selection of beer.

That was before i had problems with them over charging my card. I have had this happen on several occasions. Got them all fixed. But not worth the frustration.
