New PSC power steering pump took a chit, so I had to feather the gas & brake to get the RPMs high enough to turn the wheels. Had the Pump Honed per PSC's recommendations, but that didn't work. PSC said that some pumps got out with the tolerances too tight. Now I have to order a new pump on Monday.

Did you put a filter on the system? I know PSC quit recommending a filter, but it's still a good bet to run one. Sometimes a bad part/pump can contaminate the system and the particles can take out a new pump or cylinder. The filter doesn't really do anything until it collects bits from a pump going bad.

The new PSC reserviors have a removable filter built inside now - its a pretty trick set-up. They probably started doing this for the reason you stated. System is going to get flushed anyway before the new pump goes on.
