STEWARDS-A Rare Opportunity

A RARE OPPORTUNITY
With the Forest Service Trail Designation Plan underway our legislators are very interested in hearing from the public. We have a rare opportunity to enlist their help to keep trails open during this process, but only if they understand why.
Our first wave of volunteers will be meeting with their legislators soon to educate them on the need to keep trails open. We need more volunteers
We need members to meet with their legislators or their staff in your local town office & tell them why OHV recreation is important. This will take about an hour of your time & will make a huge difference even if your legislator is not in favor of public access to public lands. We can provide you with tools to make a compelling case to keep our trails open.
Please contact our Membership Outreach Program Director, George Paniagua at georgep@stewardsofthesequoia.org
He can provide you with the tools & help set up the appointment in your local legislators office.
You do not need to be a good speaker, you just need to care about keeping trails open to make a difference, bring your kids & shows them how government works.

Please be sure to join Stewards & please make a donation to help support our efforts http://www.stewardsofthesequoia.org/membership.html

Please do your part. Get involved or loose your right to recreate on trails.
Together we can help keep our trails open

Thanks to those of you who heeded the Trail Crew of One alert & registered to volunteer
We now enough volunteers to make this weekends projects happen. To find out about future Trail Appreciation Days

Trails Tires are the best thing for trail riding since suspension
Read what others have to say about these tires that last twice as long & grip more than twice as well on trails as knobbies
