So post up your worst damage of the month and we will all vote on it......Then point and laugh!

another Desert Dog August submission

Took both Jeeps to Pismo this weekend. Found an awesome place to jump back in the East dunes. I stopped after a couple jumps because I heard a squeak/grind noise coming from the back of my Jeep. When we were driving away from the jump, the wife radios from the TJ saying that my rear driver's wheel was wobbly.

Turns out that I bent an axle shaft, and upon pulling the shaft, also found that I also twisted the splines. Luckily, I carry a spare rear shaft with everything pressed on it. But unfortunately, as soon as I pulled the bent shaft, a sandstorm started blowing. So when I got home, I had to pull the shaft again, clean everything out and change the fluid. I'm glad I did because there was sand in there.

I guess my jumping days are over until I get a 60 in the rear too!

When you squatted to take a tinkle at Calico, I don't remember any type of shaft? I guess I could reach around and play with your love button if it makes you relax more :dontknow:

I always figured you had one of those "Victor/Victoria" type of things going
