Rear Track Bar JK

Postby VICTORG93307 » September 22nd, 2010, 1:16 pm

Well first it was the front track bar mount that went to s@#t and now as i pull into the parking lot my track bar including brackets is on the floor dragging. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

After a few cuss words and after my sandwich, i inspected the whole thing and id have to say that Dana or whoever welded it did a piss poor job. The welds are by far the weakest ive seen.

Gotta get her fixed before saturday. Richard at G&G said come by after work and we will get her done.

Get it done before Saturday.
(knocking on wood) I guess I'm pretty lucky so far, I need to get mine welded up just to be on the safe side.

Yeah im heading over to Richards shop tonight to get it welded back on and just ordered a JKS adjustable track bar so that i can get rid of the bracket extension in the rear too. I think I just got lucky and got shitty welds on both housings.

Those weak assed track bar brackets can't handle the extra leverage from any extension bracket. They can barely handle no extension. The fix is pretty simple, and they won't come off again.
