Calico -- 10/23

If you went on a run this is where to brag about it!

Calico -- 10/23

Postby abendx » October 24th, 2010, 1:54 pm

First let me say.... this run was super gay. Not because it was bad wheeling or bad company on the trail, on the contrary, the wheeling was great and the company was top notch! What was gay, super Big Gay Al gay... was all the losers that dropped out at the last second. No names need to be voiced, but you know who you are (Henry and Victor and Ryan).

What I don't get is that we are a friendly... open bunch. If you guys wanted to keep each other company and make pig noises in your tent after dark.... it would have been okay. If you wanted to go behind a big rock and fondle one another.... it would have been okay. If you wanted to openly show your love for one another on Victor's pink rotating mattress... it would have not been okay. Really, I have to draw the line at open displays of gay affection. But I digress.... without you guys on the trail, the rest of us were uninspired and had no one to peer pressure us to do anything fun.

While I would love to go on and on about the bad Infectious members, let's talk about the good ones.

Larry, Scott, and myself drove out for a day of wheeling and a night of BJ stories.... fortunately for me, Larry brought his beautiful daughter Layla and the BJ talk was tabled for the next run. Scott also brought his son Seth, whom drove for a good portion of the trail and showed the rest of us up.

We started by running Dorian, then shot over to some super secret lookout that Scott knew about, then back down through Odessa, and on to The Gatekeeper. We all had a lot of fun and after a very quick run through The Gatekeeper (Scott is an amazing spotter... Larry, not so much :thefinger:), we headed back to camp, had dinner and some good story telling.

All of my pictures can be found here. I will hopefully add to that album when I get Larry's and Seth's pictures (surely much better).

Carnage was limited. We had one broken valve stem, one very bent sway bar link, one crushed corner and taillight, one torn off bumper, and some general scratches to armor and bodywork.

Here are a few pics to keep you interested in seeing the rest.

Those are some nice pics. I wish I could have gone. Next time. You know I dont back out. I do think you need to put a fire under psc to get your corners or your gonna spend a small forture in band aid stickers.

Awsome run, I'll get my pis up ASAP.
Laylla has told me at least 5 times that she has fun.
I'll email you my pics as soon as I cam Brad, had to adjust my toe & rotate my tires. Lol, no one got a pic of my flat tire (thanks to Brad for yanking out my valve stem)

Can't wait for the next run

Sweet.... can't wait to see them. Hopefully your idea of ASAP isn't Victor's idea of ASAP. Still waiting his pics from the 10/10 run. :dontknow:

Glad Laylla had fun... Not sure if I told you or not... but that girl has the most amazing smile. Everything I'd look at her she'd just light up. Instead of anti-depressants... people just need a friend like her.

And crap... I din't get a pic of your flat and forgot about it.... need to add to the carnage list.

BTW, nice valve stem.

Wow.... look at that!? Larry just sent me some of his pics!

Ask and you shall receive! :Thumb:

I added them to my online album, take a look see.

Thanks Larry... looks like your girl might have a future in photography (for those that weren't there, Laylla (six years of age) took all the pics on The Gatekeeper)!

hey Brad, i'm uploading my pics (136 of them)to webshots right now.
it was taking forever to send them to you with roadrunner's email. i could only send 5 at a time.
i believe you can download them from webshots, if not i'll keep emailing them to you.
when the upload is done i'll post a link for a slide show.
my girls get alot of practice taking pics with my iphone, i do have to delete most of them.

Whoa.... you have more pics than you sent! Send them all brother and I'll host in my online album for all to see (I have lots of space and can host them all full size).

To answer your question... I handed it back to you after you changed the tire and not sure what you did with it. :dontknow:

Seeing you bought your tires from me... that is really going to hurt when you awaken after your drunken night to find your junk with four flat tires. :moon:
