snow run report 1-10-09

Yesturdays run was a blast....! We met up at flyin J's in frasier park at 9am. One of thier land crusiers had some problems so we werent on the trail till around 10:30. The first patch of snow we cam across and i do mean patch (30yds or so) pretty much got everyone stuck at some point lol. In an attempt to pull the land crsuier out i was stuck & than the next land crusier tryed to pull me out and got stuck and the same for the next one lol. But once we finally remover the first one everyone made it thru untill the last land crusier who got stuck. He was kinda stubborn and didnt want to use the winch so that took awhile. By than two nicley set up rubicons showed up( one with a supercharger i might add! lol) than two older broncos and a toyota showed. At the end of the mess i finally left ahead of everyone with the 2 jeeps and broncos due to a time issuse. I kinda felt bad for leaving them but they would be ok. They did have around 5 land crusiers and another jeep all equipped with winchs plus Phil from frasier was with them so... im over it :-p The run was a long one very slow one at that. The snow was so deep that you pretty much idel the how trail cause as soon as you would touch the gas the vehicle would sink instantly. Well either way it was a blast!

Take 138 and get off on "rouge route" The old hwy before they built the 5. About 2 miles down on your left hand said there is a trail that leads up the mounthian. I dont quite remember the name of the trail though.
