Question, how did you know they were Channel Island 4X4? Also if it was them where were you broke down at....I would like to drop a line or two on their FaceBook page.
They had CI4x4 stickers on the sides of their rigs. I looked at their forums and they had a run up there that day. And now they are bashing me there for doing something wrong on their forum when I brought this up as a learning point for them. Sure I am a tad ticked they blew by like that, but in the end... I am fine. So why not learn from it, right? The really interesting thing is that the people that were on that run aren't the people making the biggest noise.... it is mostly the admins. Weird, right?
Thing about it is, you probably already had help coming and would have respectfully declined if thay asked. Now karma is going to hit them retards on the next trai and they brought it on thereselves.

"Some peoples kids!!"
This is correct. I had help coming, but they just flipped their noses up at me when they went by. Actually, one waved, but the rest gave dumbass/dirty looks. Then when they went by Pete (another Infectious member and my help) on the side of the road a few miles up with his flashers on (it was dark and he was making the phone calls in an area that had cell reception), they didn't stop to see if he was okay either.
Yeah he already had it figured out, but it never hurts to ask. Shoot I can't even count how many times I've asked people if they need help. And you know what only a handful of times have they actually needed it. You know what I mean...
This is my point.... dumb move on their part. Two seconds to check on someone's welfare goes a long way and what if that person was actually in real need (medical emergency, etc.). Every other 4x4 that went by stopped or turned around and came back to make sure we were okay, heck.... even most of the few cars that went by that night stopped to ask.
Anyhow.... the point now is that we know, as a club, that we'd never pull that kind of shit. This is a learning point for us too. Not only to stop and check on people (I assume we would already do this as everyone in the club I have met or talked to here seems like 100% good, no great, people!), but that not stopping makes not only the individul look bad, but the club as a whole look bad. Hell... even some rigs from VC4WD stopped by to check me out... and according to a reliable person in CI4x4, they are the CI4x4 rejects that got kicked out for various reasons. If the rejects are the ones that stop to help others out.... well shit, the rejects must be the good ones! So no need to start any wars or anything... we should just learn from the situation. Apparently CI4x4 can't seem to figure this part out?
